My name is Sophie and I am a photographer based in Bristol, southwest England. Most of my work is influenced by my general interest in art including the surrealist movement. My work can be compulsive as it varies greatly from landscape to portrait, historical to contemporary, colour and black and white.

I have recently experimented with scanography, and post-production involving deformation and abstraction, intending to cause distress within the viewer. I have a desire to continue experimenting and educate myself with more techniques in the future for more variety. I enjoy photography as an art form more than anything else.

I previously studied Art, Craft and Design along with Photography as GCSEs in secondary school. Photography became something I have enjoyed as a result of that, so I am currently studying photography full time at Boomsatsuma. This is a level 3 course titled the Photography Collective.
